last night i tried out the sims for about an hour. i thought it was pretty lame. i really enjoyed the original simcity computer game, but this just felt like a waste of time. i wasn't engaged. i am glad i decided to try these games out before committing for the semester.

at target earlier yesterday, i got stuck looking at the computer games. having not played highly commercial games online before, i am not sure what to buy to start with or if i even need to buy anything. the witcher looked creepy and cool. there was another whose name evades me now that also looked good, but i want something with some multiplayer interaction online in case i can actually convince a friend or two to join me in this endeavor.

after peeling myself away, i noticed on the endcap a game about pirates... :D

what is it with me and pirates??? :P

so, i bought it. 50$. looks like it just came out last summer. reviews seem good. i might try it out tonight. PIRATES! :)
